IPL Comms was appointed the exclusive distributor of Siemens SME class of products in Australia in March 2007.

IPL Comms (IPL) was founded in early 2000 with the mission of entering the VOIP telecommunications market. IPL’s business model has always been to support a limited number of vendors and leverage sales for those vendors through a network of value add resellers and other indirect channel players.

By limiting the number of Vendors IPL is able to concentrate its resources; sales, marketing, technical and investment in working capital, thus providing the opportunity to maximize market share and sales growth. This concentration forges a strong relationship between IPL and its vendors, strengthening ties and results in the attainment of mutual objectives.

For IPL’s channel partners the relationship has always been centered on providing value add services, such as;

1. channel integrity and pricing disciplines
2. just in time inventory and dispatches within 24 hours of receipt of order
3. efficient and effective product replacement and return processes
4. flexible finance and credit facilities
5. high level technical support covering pre and post sales
6. training; both sales and technical with accreditations
7. marketing and promotional support
8. liaison with vendors for support in technical, sales and marketing matters.
